Two online workshops “Off the peat path"
On behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the Agency for Renewable Resources (FNR) invites you to two online workshops “Off the peat path - Alternative substrates for mushroom cultivation” on April 4 and “Off the peat path - Wood fibres as an alternative to peat in substrates” on April 25 2023.

The two workshops are follow-up events to the "Off the peat path - Suitability and availability of alternative substrates for peat use in European horticulture" workshop held on 22 November 2022. The events will focus on peat reduced mushroom cultivation and wood fibres as an alternative to peat. Scientists from Europe will present their research results. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to contribute by partaking in the discussion.
