Greenhouses can’t do without gas yet

Because of the energy crisis, greenhouse horticulturists are heading for uncertain times. Greenhouses consume nine per cent of the natural gas in the Netherlands, and alternatives are not readily available. At WUR, the experts study how greenhouse farmers can grow more energy-efficient crops.
