Innovations exposed at Cyclamen Open Days Schoneveld Breeding
New colours all over the place. The breeders from Schoneveld Breeding have been working hard on the innovation of existing products. At the same time, they kept developing new varieties for the assortment. Altogether, this results in a broad range of fresh coloured flowering pot plants. And anyone interested can come to see them for themselves. During the annual Cyclamen Open Days, Schoneveld Breeding presents its complete assortment of Cyclamen in all colours and sizes. And there is more, like technical trials and a sneak peek in the future. Will you be there?

The first major innovation you get to see on the Open Days is the introduction of the unique coloured Super Serie Fusion Large. This Cyclamen is available in the colour Neon Pink. This large-flowered Cyclamen has a very distinct leaf type. The two-toned colours make Super Serie Fusion a true eye-catcher which is at its best from the end of September. From this season you can order this new beauty in our assortment.
The smaller sized Super Serie Fusion Midi stands ready to enter the market. It is not commercially available yet, but it won’t last long anymore. The pre-commercial Super Serie Fusion Midi will be introduced in 3 amazing colours: Neon Pink, Violet and Wine Red. Growers get the chance to order sample seeds to run trials with this strong Cyclamen.
Next stop during your visit will be the large-flowered Super Serie Leopardo. This heat-tolerant power house took the market by storm from its introduction. Now the assortment is complemented with 3 new colours. In the greenhouses from Schoneveld Breeding, you find the colours Neon Pink, Wine Red and Light with Eye. Also the New Super Serie Elegante, the little sister of Leopardo, will be present.
At last, there is the joyful Super Serie Djix. This little stubborn Cyclamen is well known on the market for its unique petals that hang down. The colour range of this perfect autumn bloomer is now added with a new colour: Salmon with Eye.
The breeders from Schoneveld Breeding work behind the scenes on new products. For example the new Illusia in the colour Light with Eye. The unique flower shape makes this a very outstanding and appealing product. The area managers and growing supporters from Schoneveld Breeding can give you all details about this new product.
They also take you along the technical trials of this year. Last year, Schoneveld Breeding did a trial on the amount of water a plant needs to be given. Also, the trial checked how the substrate influences the cultivation. Should you better choose peat-free substrate or the normal one? Find all answers during your visit.
