GrowOrganiX will be located at Plantise's former production site in Naaldwijk, in order to continue building on the foundation of the company's organic division that stopped operations at the end of March 2023. Sion Eichmüller (formerly of Vena Vitae) has been appointed managing director of GrowOrganiX. He will lead the brand-new team which is made up of several former Plantise employees, including William van Schie (cultivation specialist) and Simon van Zanten (sales).
A flying start
Eichmüller: "Having managed to attract several experienced employees from the former firm of Plantise, we are able to get off to a flying start. Over the next few months, we will be working hard to set up and optimise 4.2 hectares of cultivation area, ensuring that we are ready to begin sowing this autumn. With the grafting process kicking off in November, we will be able to supply growers in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, England, Belgium, and France with our products this winter. Based on our founders’ profound knowledge, we will be able to deliver top-quality products. Ensuring optimal service and quality is our utmost priority, allowing our customers to fully focus on their cultivation."
