From October 14 to 16, Feria Valencia becomes once again the hub of the green sector with Iberflora 2025, the major professional event for gardening, landscaping, floristry, and horticultural technology. Marked by sustainability and plant-focused technology, this edition features an array of innovations showing the future direction of the sector: greener, more efficient, and environmentally conscious.

Biotechnology Meets Nature

One of the most striking innovations is Oh!Listic, a plant-based liquid organic fertilizer that nourishes plants deeply without harsh chemicals. Its composition—over 50% organic matter with humic extracts—improves soil fertility and strengthens roots, delivering visible results in flowers, fruit trees, and citrus plants alike.

Similarly, SAPROGUMIN combines science and sustainability with a 100% organic formula developed through nanotechnology. Its ability to optimize nutrient absorption makes it especially useful for regenerative agriculture. FUNGEL, a bio-stimulant that acts even at the cellular level, stands out for its effectiveness and versatility: it can be applied foliar, radicular, via endotherapy, or even using drones.

Innovations That Protect Biodiversity

Sustainability is also reflected in products like B’s – Biodiversity, the new collection from Dutch manufacturer elho, designed to support wildlife. The line includes birdhouses and insect hotels made from 100% recycled plastic, developed with conservation experts such as Naturalis and the Dutch Society for the Protection of Birds.

Other products, like LanoPellet, turn natural waste into useful resources. This regenerative fertilizer made from sheep’s wool from Grazalema enhances soil health and naturally repels pests, supporting the circular economy and local livestock farming.

Iberflora 2025 also highlights large-scale biodiversity protection solutions. Infertosa’s sustainable peat extraction system allows peatlands to be exploited without drainage, increasing biodiversity in the Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca Natural Park. The creation of lagoons and islands provides habitats for aquatic life and for nesting, breeding, and migrating birds, preserving vulnerable traditional areas while fostering a balanced coexistence that boosts local biodiversity.

Technology for Plant Well-Being

Plant-care technology is taking center stage this edition. The Syngenta TreeCare Micro-Injection System enables precise and discreet tree treatments. Applied directly into the trunk, it avoids spraying chemicals into the air, protecting the environment, people nearby, and pollinators. Similarly, the Meliflor Electric Sprayer makes home gardening easier with three spray levels, a rechargeable battery, and an autonomy indicator.

Meanwhile, H2Gro, a substrate wetting agent, optimizes water use in ornamental crops—a key innovation in the context of droughts and water restrictions.

Design and Sustainability in Floristry

Sustainable design is also highlighted by French manufacturer Clayrton’s, which presents Water-Resistant Kraft Paper, an eco-friendly, compostable wrap combining aesthetics and functionality. The company also introduces Rapid’eau Étanche, a waterproof container that keeps bouquets fresh without wasting water or compromising style.

The Titano pot, made from 100% recyclable resin, completes the sustainable design focus: elegant, durable, and suitable for both private gardens and urban spaces, proving that beauty can also be eco-friendly.

New Varieties and “Urban Green” Trends

In ornamentals, Mandevilla hybrida Rio Lipstick impresses with its intense red color that does not fade in sunlight—a novelty sure to win over both growers and enthusiasts. Creativity also comes from Fitoralia, presenting two original collections: Delirium Faba, featuring colorful and uniquely shaped broad beans, and Leaf & Go, trays of baby greens ready to harvest and consume at home, ideal for urban gardens and sustainable kitchens.

The Reference Fair for the Sector

With over 50 years of history, Iberflora remains the key professional forum for the green sector. Its 2025 edition will gather hundreds of national and international companies, technical conferences, demonstrations, and a training program combining innovation, sustainability, and green culture. In short, an essential event confirming that the future of the sector lies in solutions that are natural, intelligent, and environmentally respectful.
