Discover the secrets of the ancient art of bonsai at Euroflora 2025. Master Naoki Maeoka will be in Genoa next April, a guest at the 13th edition of the International Flower and Plant Exhibition, scheduled from April 24th to May 4th.

This amazing technique of miniaturizing a tree to create a perfect representation of nature in a small pot, has a very long history, dating back to ancient China in the sixth century.

Within the picturesque setting of Euroflora 2025, Master Maeoka will lead workshops and demonstrations in the Tamerice Arena (Jean Nouvel Pavilion, first floor) from April 26th to 29th (2:30 PM - 6:30 PM). Subsequently, from April 30th to May 4th, national Bonsai Art School instructors will continue these demonstrations, engaging with attendees. A concurrent exhibition of Italian bonsai and monumental specimens from a Swiss collection will also be held.

Maintaining the Japanese theme, the city of Genoa's exhibition, curated by ASTER within the Palasport, and inspired by the four seasons, will feature reproductions of Japanese floral prints from the Edoardo Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art.
