The program

In short contributions, active people from the horticultural sector talk about their own paths and what makes up their current profession. It is always surprising to hear what career opportunities are out there - and also to hear that career paths often turn out quite differently than originally planned. The speakers are open to questions and discussions.

  • 10.30 a.m.: Welcome by the moderators Marc-Guido Megies (BHGL) and Christoph Killgus (Verlag Eugen Ulmer)
  • 10.35 a.m.: Thomas van Megen, Managing Director Gerbera van Megen, Straelen

  • 11.05 a.m.: Fiona Fernandez, Risk Consultant at Gartenbau-Versicherung, Wiesbaden
  • 11.20 p.m.: Jochen Flenker, Head of the Green Spaces Department at the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf District Office
  • 11.35 a.m.: Donald Strube, Deputy Head of Department, Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture, Kassel
