GCA partners nation’s first Net Zero Business
The Garden Centre Association in Great Britain is an official partner of the nation’s first Net Zero Business Census being delivered by the UK Business Climate Hub partnering with Planet Mark (June 2024).
von GCA erschienen am 27.06.2024This is the largest national research initiative of its kind and includes a coalition of business associations and large corporates.
GCA CEO, Peter Burks explains: “This project aims to establish a definitive benchmark for the private sector’s contribution to the UK’s national 2050 net zero target through a strong collaborative effort to gather the largest ever dataset reflecting UK organisations progress on net zero.“
“We’re urging our garden centre and associate members to take part in the Census and help shape invaluable insights for policymakers, investors, and business leaders, guiding the nation’s journey towards a sustainable future. It’s open to all UK organisations.“
“Anyone can access the Census at www.businessclimatehub.uk/census. The official deadline is June 30, but we understand it may be extended to July 7 to capitalise on the start of Net Zero Week, which follows on from London Climate Action Week in early July, so if you can’t get to it this week, then you may be able to do it next week. We hope all our members can get behind this and we can work together to drive positive change and pave the way for a more sustainable future.”
The GCA represents more than 200 garden centres nationwide. For further information, please visit www.gca.org.uk.
